Herceg Novi is known as “the gateway” to the beautiful Bay of Kotor<\/strong> and is one of the most important health resort<\/strong> of the country. Its architecture is somewhat<\/strong> comparable to the must-see Dubrovnik<\/strong> in Croatia (albeit smaller and not as well known).<\/p>\n

Picturesque Herceg Novi is ideal for exploring on foot. In any case, you should take a walk along the beach promenade<\/strong>. This approximately six kilometer long path is called “Pet Danica”<\/strong> and leads along the sea. This promenade is lined with countless restaurants and stalls, as well as various discotheques and hotels and is therefore also the tourist center of the city<\/strong>. It definitely invites you to stroll and take a look, everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to swim here.<\/p>\n

A walk through the terraced old town with its narrow streets that stretch over the steep slopes of the bay is extremely attractive!<\/strong><\/p>\n

However, foreign visitors come not only in the summer months, but also all year round. The reason for this is the health center “Dr. Simo Milo\u0161evi\u0107”<\/strong> in the suburb of Igalo<\/strong>, which treats a wide variety of diseases with slightly radioactive sea mud. The spa in Herceg Novi lasts all year round.<\/p>\n

Herceg Novi has many fortifications, monasteries and churches, towers and a number of viewpoints<\/strong>! A city tour is definitely worthwhile.<\/strong><\/p>\n
