Jaz Beach lies about 5 km outside Budva and, at 2.5 km, is one of the longest and liveliest beaches in Montenegro. With its light, sandy pebbles and crystal-clear, clean water, it was even named Europe’s most beautiful beach by Lonely Planet. It also gained fame as the former home of the Sea Dance Festival.
Right on the beach you’ll find numerous shops, restaurants and bars. A wide range of watersports awaits here: jet ski, fly board, water skiing, kayaking and more. There’s a water park for the little ones, and there’s plenty to see underwater for snorkellers too.
New on the beach: At the quieter eastern end of Jaz (the „Mali Pijesak” area), Malaya Beach Club has become a popular insider spot in recent years – built naturally from stone and wood, with a seafood-focused kitchen and a relaxed vibe, dog-friendly too. In the central area, newer spots like Beach Bar Jedro (perfect for sunset) and Talas Bar, which now also hosts its own beach events such as the Budva Beach Fest, are bringing fresh energy to the beach.
Ideal for active, sporty travellers and families with children.
