Kamenovo Beach – with Stylish Bars & Sunbeds „Kamenovo Plaža”

Location: Roughly halfway between Budva and Sveti Stefan, near Rafailovici

South-facing Kamenovo Beach lies roughly halfway between Budva and Sveti Stefan. This pebble beach nestles between the rocks against turquoise-blue water. The sunset here is especially spectacular – it creates a fantastic play of colours against the mountain backdrop with its green vegetation. Because of its location, the sunset here also happens later than in Budva or Becici.

Small waves and gently sloping water make Kamenovo suitable for families.

There are stylish bars and restaurants here with cool daybeds – simply a lovely atmosphere. The well-known Kamenovo Beach Bar & Restaurant has been part of the beach for over 10 years and keeps the mood going into the evening with live music and DJ sets.

Good to know: Kamenovo has held the Blue Flag for exceptional water quality since 2016 and was officially voted Montenegro’s most beautiful beach in 2019. It’s also comfortably reachable on foot via the Rafailovici tunnel.

Alongside the beach clubs with sunbeds and umbrellas, there’s a fairly large free area where you can spread out your towel at no cost.

Suitable for families with children as well as calm seekers who appreciate a nice atmosphere.

Getting to Kamenovo Beach

Easily reachable via the coastal road – about 5 km from Budva
Alternatively reachable on foot via the Rafailovici tunnel
About 300 metres above the southern part of the beach: a larger, shaded car park, paid (approx. €3–5) – just a 3-minute walk from there to the beach
At the northern end of the beach: a narrow, free access road

Our tip from experience: Kamenovo is one of the beaches we visit most – it’s very quick to reach from our apartment, and thanks to the car park right above the beach, it’s only about a 3-minute walk down to the water. If you’re staying in Rafailovici, you can also comfortably walk there through the short tunnel cut into the rock – the walk itself is a popular photo spot.
