Mogren Beach Budva – the Cliff Beach „Plaža Mogren”

The „Mogren Beach” can be reached on foot from Budva’s Old Town. Even if you don’t feel like swimming, the walk itself along the coast is worth it. You’ll first pass the famous sculpture „the Dancer”, then walk right below the cliffs along the sea until you reach the beach.

The small pebble cove nestles picturesquely between high cliffs. It’s a pebble beach interrupted in the middle by a rock, so it feels more like two beaches connected by a small tunnel. One side is 80 metres long (Mogren 1) and the other 150 metres (Mogren 2). It has often been called one of the cleanest beaches in the country.

It’s a peaceful oasis without much watersports activity, and you get a wonderful view of Budva’s Old Town.

There are also restaurants and beach bars here. For two sunbeds and an umbrella, expect to pay around €15.

To finish, take a walk to the ruins of Mogren Fortress or up to the Vista Point lookout. The enchanting landscape is an absolute must-see! The steep cliffs and distant mountain ranges offer breathtaking photo opportunities!

Getting to Mogren Beach

Only reachable on foot! A small, beautifully scenic path leads right past the statue „the Dancer”. You walk below the coastal cliffs and automatically arrive at the beach.

Since it’s only reachable on foot, there’s no direct parking at the beach either.
