Lucice Beach – a Picturesque, Pine-Fringed Cove near Petrovac „Plaža Lučice”

The small, dreamy cove of Lucice Beach can genuinely be called an insider tip. It stretches out in front of a forest of cypresses and pines, and from the beach you can admire the picturesque backdrop of the two offshore islands, Katič and Sveta Nedelja. Lucice Beach lies at the eastern edge of Petrovac and is easily reachable on foot from there — you just need to walk over a small rocky spur.
Unlike Petrovac Beach, it’s usually much quieter here — no jet skis or speedboats. On the right-hand side of the beach there’s a lovely beach bar, built right into the rocks and set beneath shady trees.
Good to know: There are small sea caves to discover on both sides of the beach – great for snorkelling. Bring a mask and snorkel if you’d like to explore them.
From here, a small, slightly hilly path with lovely pines and stunning views of the azure sea leads to the next beach, Buljarica Beach. This little „walk” takes about 15 to 25 minutes — but it’s absolutely worth it!

Getting to Lucice Beach
- About 15 minutes by car from Budva
- Walkable from Petrovac in about 10 minutes along the coastal path
- Best to park your car in Petrovac and take the short walk to the beach
Insider tip: Combine Lucice with a trip to nearby Perazica Do Beach (smaller, more hidden) or walk on to Buljarica Beach — that way you experience three completely different beach characters in a single day.
